Ever thought of learning Chinese in one of the bustling cities of this great country? Now you can apply for a scholarship to learn the language or take up postgraduate studies from the comfort of your home through a newly launched e-government service.
The service, available on www.scholarships.gov.mt, will bring to wider attention such opportunities. Often, the scholarships go to waste because nobody applies and this new service was launched to encourage applications.
Seasus was commissioned by MITA, the government IT agency, to develop this online service, together with a comprehensive process management system deployed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This system automates various parts of the scholarship application process and provides tools that assist staff during the interviewing and adjudication.
